• Several days earlier, both Jason and I had attended a lecture by Alec Soth – ‘The Democratic Jungle’ – in which he’d argued that the future (as well as the past) of photography lay in narratives, in storytelling.
• Our conversation turned to subtle, clever, playful and moving photographic sequencing.
